Places I've been

oh wow, where have I been? All over Europe and going back this summer. Will be in Eastern Europe--Croatia, Hungary and Romania for the first time along with Greece this summer. With the excetion of the russian territories i have been throughout Europe many times. My favorite weekend vacation is Toronto Canada. I have yet to travel to Mexico but have been throughout the contiguous states for the most part. Although ironically Chicago is only a little three hours away from my home and I have yet to go there. go figure!:) I have had exchange students stay with our family from nearly every continent and numerous countries from around the world, over the years. Experiencing other cultures is one of the greatest experiences in my life.

Hello

I am a fiery red head seeking out friendships with fellow rock hounds.  My husband is nearing retirement and I am hoping that I can encourage him to travel around the country seeking out digs available to pedestrians.

I enjoy anything outdoors, traveling extensively, experiencing all I can of the beauty around us and the varying cultures represented along the way.

Art and literature are great leisure activities when not outside traveling or hiking, boating etc., along with cooking and gardening.
