These days we have 18 members across USA working towards Ham Radio license The Whole D***, um, Ham Family

I've done a variety of volunteer work. Newborn photographer UCLA Harbor Hospital. Food for the Homeless. Wild bird washer (oil slick). Library storybook reader and my Boo cat therapy animal what I'm working towards now. In high school I taught elementary creative dramatics and after all these years it looks like I'll be using those skills thru the library.

Well behaved women rarely make history.

2007 - On my 2nd marriage I have 4 kids ages 18-34 from my first 20 year marriage, 2 stepkids age 16 and 21 by different biomoms, 8 grandkids ages 1-15. The 14yo is my stepgrandaughter and although my son divorced her mom, they both remain mine.

We now have an empty nest.

I've worked a variety of jobs. Motel 6 maid. Bob's Big Boy hostess. Clerical. Records Analyst.

I've owned multiple businesses throughout my adulthood. Web design. Forms Analysis and Design. Diamond Plated Tools.

My favorite was with my first husband - The Machine Shop in Morro Bay, CA, servicing the fishermen. It was on the bay. We grossed about $5000 a month, which kept the business going and paid both families involved $1000 a month, after a year we bought out the partner, a year later government changed fishing rules, the fishermen were going bankrupt, and we nearly did. Suddenly grossed only $800. We had to fire our only employee, and I learned to operate the lathe and mill at the same time to churn out 2000 pieces of a part – doubling production of our previous employee. It helped keep our heads afloat until the city finally allowed us to sell the building 2 years later.

In Morro Bay '78-'82 my first husband and I were a Marriage Encounter team couple, High School Youth Ministers, I was leader of the Catholic folk group.

We moved to Orange County CA '83 and I arrested shoplifters for Nordstrom South Coast Plaza for 3 years, another favorite adventure.

In 1989 I had a horrific breakdown remembering my father's abuse, learned my sister and a couple of nieces had already had their breakdowns remembering in adulthood, and they all expected me to remain silent. I didn't. I used to speak, write, perform on the subject of recovery from incest. I facilitated 12 step groups for survivors and their partners, a Healing Your Sexual Self meeting, and marathon self-help workshops for rage and grief. I was published locally and nationally in survivors' newsletters. http://www.whitesoftheirlies.com

1990 my first husband's employer moved the 4 kids and I to Vegas, but the company never moved. My husband commuted from CA, fell in love with his landlord, and ended our 20 year marriage. I became a child support activist. I created http://www.divorcepranks.net Part of the "pranks" concept for me were all the ways to creatively set appropriate boundaries, and live your life, despite the ex's terrible behavior. The site appears to some to be male bashing. I considered it a "prank" that in the middle of the site it became about all the ways we had to do deal with a woman's inappropriate behavior, my 2nd husband's ex, hopefully thought provoking to the women who thought they were the only victims of inappropriate behavior. I became a Father's Rights advocate.

I married Pilot/Sailor/MCSEWIN2KCCNP Mark on 4th anniversary of our 6/5/92 blind date. Mark's eight years younger than I am and doesn't qualify for Eons yet. Yeh, sometimes we ponder his being in elementary school when I was in high school. He would have been scared to death, and I would have been dismayed.

My adult son lived with us a couple of times. The last time he worked with my husband for a year, then I retired from Vegas Yucca Mountain Project as records analyst '98 because Mark took a job he couldn't refuse in CA. Before we left Vegas my husband got my son a job at a local dot.com and his career has soared in Vegas where he has his two boys when they aren't living with their mom in Utah.

During our move from Vegas to CA, my husband won custody of his 13yo son. So I was home raising 3 teens in school.

2005 my husband's employer, rent.com, was sold to ebay.com.

We eventually moved to Northern CA where my husband worked for ebay as product manager, then pursued by Tavant for senior manager job. Tavant requires national and international travel.

My 22yo is succeeding at her job, college, and in her own apartment. My 18yo is working at an Alzheimer's facility. All of my kids and grandkids live too far away.
