Places I've been

As my husband is an outdoor writer I have been able to visit many interesting places which normally I would not have. This is a 2nd marriage for both of us. This has taken me to Ireland which we loved so much we wanted to get married there. Had a rental car and drove from Dublin to Shannon in two weeks, stayed in B&B's to castles visiting all the towns in between. Alaska was another adventure where we had originally left to go Caribou hunting and at the time wildfires were rampant, so hunting was stopped. We were given a car to use at our leisure. We arrived in Anchorage and stayed in Palmer. Took a few days to visit Valdez and that was the year before the oil spill. Just Gorgeous! Oh yes, then there was Hondouras. Flyfishing for bone fish. Lots of fun, stay at a resort I think I recall it's name, It's coming to me, wait, Posada Del Sol??? They took us for a picnic lunch on an Island and we did the usual beach fun; Limbo, Rum punch, architechural digs on some ruins.... Hunting for Bear in Idaho's forests' near the continental divide, that's pretty neat, spring on one side of the mountian winter on the other all at the same time. I been to many places in Canada since we are so close, for me; mostly Quebec, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. I drove to Newfoundland twice in 2007 and honeymooned in Labrador in 2000.

I have recently gone back to college for a degree in business. I am happily married and enjoy the outdoors tremendously. I have a 30 year old son frm my 1st marraige. I had been at my last job in the textile industry for 33 years. It went to China.

I love a good time. My favorite music is by Kenney Chesney. Although when I want to relax it is classical. Rock oldies from the 70's always brings me back to high school days.

I am looking forward to trying many new things in the 2nd half of my life. I am afraid of heights, so no sky diving or bungy jumping.
