I was born in South Texas but San Antonio is home. (Hometown), I love Mexico Travel. My last trip was to Cuernavaca to get my travel manager certification. I have traveled through out the west coast but have never been to the East coast. I have also been to Florida which is nice to visit but I would not want to live there.

I am a recently retired, free spirit. I feel a sense of freedom and want to experience everything in life. I love travel and will perhaps pursue that as a second career. I am your typical Libra. I hate conflict and love beautiful things. I am into art and art glass as a spectator as I have no talent. I like bright colors in my home that reflect my personality. I enjoy being a do it yourselfer and will try anything. I am on a mission to re-invent myself. I want to become physically, emotionally, spirituality and mentally fit. I am learning to become a little selfish and do the things that I never had the opportunity to do. My first goal is to get phyiscally fit. So losing those few extra pounds has been challenging. I love the outdoors. I swim daily, love camping, hiking, biking and gardening. I have strong sense of family and have always been a care giver but I am weaning myself off so I can do the things I have postponed for my own pleasure.

What is your favorite family dinner?

Thanksgiving when my entire (I do mean entire, nieces, nephews,great nieces and nephews ) family shares lunch. It is the one day eveyone makes sure to be there. We talk, laugh, play games and pray together. It is a beautiful sight.

My daughters, they have made me proud of their accomplishments, My parents for enduring 65 years of marriage.

Rent an Italian villa with my friends and/or family

Now that you are over 50, what are you doing that you never thought you would?

I am retired and starting a new life. I am enjoying grandkids and sending them home when I have had enough. I look forward to each day as a new adventure. I now have no excuses for not exercising and spending more time with my family. I am in Love with Life!
