Places I've been

Raised in the South, Louisiana, Alabama, Arkansas with a little time in Portland Oregon! Moved to Texas in 1981 and lived there till 1985....loved TEXAS! Lived in Georgia since 1985. As a family we often traveled to the beach at Amelia Island, Kiawah Island, Hilton Head, and Captiva Island. Also went skiing in Colorado in the winter with family. I recently visitied San Miguel de Allende, Mexico with my sister, daughter and a friend. Truly beautiful city and loved the visit. We want to go back next summer for sure!

I was a pk...4th out of 5 so we moved a bit. Lived my younger years in Mobile, Alabama and Portland, Oregon. We moved back to Mobile when I was 10 for 3 years then to Arkansas...outside Little Rock. I graduated from Bryant High School, went to Ouachita Baptist University for 2 and then Nursing School for 3 years. I was an RN at Baptist Med. Center in Little Rock, AR. Met my husband there where he was an intern. We moved to San Antonio after we got married where he was doing a residency. I became a SICU nurse and loved it. Our first son was born the day we were moving to Austin, TX. Left Austin....my husband never really liked it...I LOVED TEXAS...in 1985 and came to Georgia. I had 2 more children, one more son and a daughter in 4 years and stayed at home to nurture and love them...and support my husband! Traveled as a family to Colorado in the winter to ski...Snowmass, Vail and Park City. Traveled to the beach, Amelia Island Hilton Head, Captiva Island for family vacations. Kids loved biking and swimming, canoeing, tennis and golf. We have a house in the mountains of North Carolina for retreats and weekends away.
