I am a mother and a grandmother who loves to ride trains. I beat the Guinness World Record on unduplicated rail miles and was first listed in the 1998 book. To beat the record I travelled by rail through 33 countries. I am also an author. One of my book titles is listed in eons book gallery. I love to read both fiction and nonfiction.

      Oh my gosh! I can't even think about writing more than one book at a time. It makes my head hurt just thinking about it. I did take off some time to do some magazine articles and the stuff for the NPS. "Hidden Death" is about a serial killer that dumps his bodies in the keys and the wacky detective that solves the crime. If you get a chance, read the excerpt on www.jowebnar.com. I think you'll like it.

      I hear you. When I left on the trip, I thought I would have plenty of time to finish my third book. Right. I think I've written a paragraph. The NPC kept me busy the whole month and the rest of the time I just had fun. Now I am paying the price because I have fans asking me when "Hidden Death" is coming out, and they want a serial to "Saving Tampa." YIPES!

      With all that traveling, you must have a million stories to tell. I would love to sit down and listen to you sometime. John and I are just coming back from a four month trip. I spent 1 month at Mammoth Cave National Park as an artist in residence. That was super, and next summer I want to try another national park.

      Hi,
      Thanks for commenting on "Saving Tampa". My husband is actually a great help. He finds these weird things and spooky places, and than he comes home and tells me about them. Most of the time they end up in one of my books.
