About Me

I'm an urban Alaskan. I love the beauty of AK, but have no desire to fish, hunt, mountain climb, or ski. They say Anchorage is only 15 mins out of AK. We have a cabin on a remote river and one at a lake.

Retired from the State of Alaska, Dept. of Labor Employment Counselor.

I'm a docent at our museum,giving tours on Alaska History; belong to the Anchorage Women's Club, part of the GFW, the board at my small church, Toastmasters International (the most fun you can have at 7 am.)

Exercise class twice a week, currently T'ai Chi. My goal is to walk 500 miles this year, up to 425!

Married for 38 years, originally from Chicago and still go back to midwest yearly to see relatives. Have 2 sons, 29 & 35. No grandkids - wish I did.
