Places I've been: Florida,Pennsylvia,lived my first12 yrs in Royal Oak,Mi I really enjoy Florida and the beaches.I enjoy Pennsylvania because of my work in genealogy, my family roots
More about me: I am friendly and very new to this. I worked as a hairdresser for 15 years then for GM for 15 years before becoming a hairdresser and working at GM(bluecollar worker) I worked in the office of a car dealership.
Activities: I like doing several crafts. Quilling, scrapbooking, making , cardmaking for my family, makingjewelry, sewing, genealogy, walking.I love to collect different sea shells . I made a wreath of sea shells for my bathroom and have made some as gifts. I like to make dried flower wreaths also and growing herbs.
Favorite Charities: salvation army as they help others and I know where the money is going ....to really help people.
Favorite Music: I like easy listening music and one of my favorite singers is Michael Blublae. I like some lighter operas. Also, Josh Grogran.
Favorite TV Shows: All of the CSI shows, dancing with the stars, The Doctors, Discovery shows on the sea and the creatures that live in the sea. History channel, 7th Heaven, I like a wide variety of other shows like LifeTime and Hallmark.
Favorite Movies: Tyler Perry's movies "Madea goes to Jail" and Slumdog I like comedies and shows that keep you on the edge of your seat.
Favorite Books: My favorite author is James Patterson.
Favorite People: MY FAMILY and grandchildren. I treasure my friends. I also like Kelley Ripp as I think she is adorable
Favorite Places: The ocean beaches looking for shells and Pennsylvania as I find my "Penn Duetch" history there. Other then these places I have not traveled that much. I am sure I would love Europe and Hawaii.
Favorite Animals: I love all animals. I have two cats but I have raised a baby squirrel to maturity and it broke my heart when I had to give him to the concervation people so they could teach him about his natural living outdoors. I also found a baby racoon. I love all animals.

Hi Philora, I can understand the fear of going places alone. I just spent a week in Florida all by myself. When I made the reservation a friend was supposed to go with me but that didn't work out. I actually enjoyed myself and found myself visiting with people on the pool deck and in the hot tub. I'm usually very shy. Eating alone in retaurants was the hardest part. since i was stayng in a timeshare I fixed most of my meals but i did eat at a lovely dockside restaurant where a Pelican sat just outside the window and kept me company. I know i am capable of going anywhere by myself but I feel awkward.
