Western Springs, Illinois (Hometown), I was born in Rockford, Illinois, and spent my first 5 years there. My family moved to New York, Connecticut and back to the Chicago suburbs. After high school graduation, I went to 3 different colleges, the most notable...University of Hawaii, Honolulu. After living 3 years in Hawaii, I came back to Illinois and lived in the western suburbs of Chicago...Western Springs until 1999 when I moved to Phoenix. In 2002 I moved here to Mesa. In my lifetime, I've traveled to a majority of the 50 states. I've never been to Alaska, the Pacific Northwest, or some of the southeastern states. As far as travel outside of the U.S., the only country I've been to is Mexico. My working history includes substitute teaching, various office jobs...secretary, phone customer service, to name a couple. In 1981 and until the mid 1990's I pursued a career as a Mary Kay Independent Consultant. What an experience...leading to travel and incredible job satisfaction. After moving to Phoenix in 1999 I worked in a small boutique. Moving to Mesa made it necessary to change jobs. Here in Mesa I worked in a dinner theater. At the present my job options are open. I am looking for the "right" part-time job.
