I was born in Jackson, MS, but my family moved when I was still a baby. I lived in Jacksonville, FL until I was 12, then I moved to Birmingham, AL (Mountain Brook). I returned to Jacksonville where I spent most of my professional life. Presently, I reside in Tallahassee, but, hopefully, this will not be a permanent location. No offense to the citizens of Tally, but this isn't my favorite place. I would love to move some place new and exciting. I'm ready for some adventure in my life!

More about me

I'm retired after 30 years as a telecommunications engineer. Although recently divorced, I am determined to look forward, not back.  My lifestyle is very active, and I have a passion for many things, especially reading. Many years ago I gave up golf, but plan to pick up the clubs once again. I also want to learn to kayak. I adore being outside, and all the beautiful water in Florida was made for kayaking. Unfortunately, I do not know many people in Tallahassee, so I am considering a relocation. I'm from Alabama and would love to move back, especially to the Fairhope area. Thanks for taking the time to read my profile.

Activities

I am a voracious reader. My to-do list for the coming year includes learning to kayak and take up golf again.

Unfortunately, I've traveled very little, except professionally. My dream is to visit Austria and Italy. On cold rainy days, I loved to watch the water run over the dam at the Old Mill in Mountain Brook, Alabama where I grew up.

My favorite animal is the panda. Who doesn't love pandas? Do you know the legend about their markings? It's endearing.
