I GREW UP IN A SMALL COLLEGE TOWN, MARION, AL IN WEST CENTRAL ALABAMA. THERE WAS A BOYS MILITARY COLLEGE, MARION MILITARY INST. AND A CHRISTIAN GIRLS COLLEGE BY THE NAME OF JUDSON COLLEGE. IT WAS WONDERFUL GROWING UP IN MARION. IT WAS A SLEEPY LITTLE TOWN (Hometown), High School Name (City, State)
I WENT TO HIGH SCHOOL IN MARION AL AND IT WAS THE COUNTY SEAT OF PERRY CO., AL SO MY SCHOOL WAS PERRY CO. HIGH SCHOOL. THERE WAS ONLY 33 MEMBERS OF MY GRADUATING CALSS IN 1961. I DID NOT FINISH WITH MY CLASS HOWEVER, CAUSE I WAS SO IN LOVE I GOT MARRIED DURING SENIOR YEAR AND I DIDN'T FEEL LIKE I NEEDED SCHOOL ANYMORE. GO FIGURE! WE WERE MARRIED 24 YRS. AND HAD 3 CHILDREN. I MARRIED AGAIN 7 YEARS AGO TO A WONDERFUL TEXAN.WE ARE SO HAPPY.
