Places I've been

My parents moved around a lot as I was growing up. Changing schools and making new friends didn't come easy to me as I was somewhat shy, but now as I look back on those years, I feel fortunate to have lived in different parts of the U.S. and have friends in several places.

I have two children, four grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. They are the bright spots in my life and fortunately they all live close and drop in to see us often.

I read a lot, sew a lot, cook a lot and that pretty much sums it up

 So my life revolves around family and church. Doesn't sound very exciting but peaceful  and contented can be a very good thing! Just ask my hubby of many, many years. 

I enjoy my retirement and love to read the fascinating stories of the members of Eons. Have met some very interesting people here.

Just about any kind but mostly blues, jazz or the smoothies that I used to dance to. (Love those memories!)

Mysteries, historical romances and have a lot of "keepers" on my bookshelves that I reread once in a while.
