I live with my sister and her mate, Mike  plus several dogs!

I live in Wentzville, MO. I moved to Wentzville May, 2008. My sister has been waiting for me to retire and move here. Most of my brothers and sisters live in the St Louis area. My son and granddaughter live in Shawnee KS. Thank goodness for the internet and unlimited long distance! The good old days would have been snail mail and brief phone conversations!

I worked in the Actuarial area in Life Insurance until 1996. After being downsized, I took a temporary job in a grocery store, and have been there ever since. By the time I was there a year, I was the Seafood person of choice. When the store closed I was Seafood Manager, Meat clerk, Store Safety Coordinator, and write names on birthday cakes in my spare time. Oh! Did I mention that we cook Seafood free! I was a seafood short order chef, especially during lent! Salmon was my specialty.

Over the years, I have had 3 little sisters in Big Brother/Big Sister program.

I participated in Boy Scouts from Cub Den Leader and Committee member through Asst. Scout Master in a Boy Scout Troop. OA and Wood-badge trained. The best part was that I learned how to winter camp and keep warm. I enjoyed facilitating experiences for the boys, and being outdoors at the same time.

Eventually, My sister and I will move to a chunk of forest 30 miles below Rolla, Missouri.

One of my brothers lives down the road. Deer, turkeys and copperheads roam the land. Emu and Bison are close by.

We have many hobbies that are laying dormant. Can't wait to get time to get back to some of them! Of course time for the computers and books will come too. Whats new in your life?
