Hometown: South Haven, MI (3 blocks from Lake Michigan) I lived in the same house that I grew up in for 35 years.
Places I've been: High School Name (City, State) LC Mohr High School, South Haven, MI College Name Davenport University, Holland, MI Eastern Michigan University, Ypsilanti, MI College Graduation Year Davenport - 2001 Eastern - MS not complete College Graduation Major/Concentration BS in Mgmt w/ majors in HR and Bus MS started in Human Resources & Organizational Development (HROD) Occupation(s) Received my Reiki Masters in 1994 while I was still in west Michigan. I have worked on children and currently am focusing on animals. Got a job in Charlotte, NC. Life is good. JC is still on the throne.
More about me: Moved to Gastonia, NC March 2006 from MI & MA. Absolutely in love w/ the terrain, mts, temps, people, food, & wine. Have a mini schnauzer named Orio that is the love of my life. Her Bday is 12-27-95 and got her when she was 8 wks old. I hike in the mts on weekends w/ Orio every chance I get. I am pro animal rights and send out the daily emails for the county shelter trying to place the animals quickly, am a vegetarian since 2002, like to garden, read books, watch CSI and SVU shows, animal planet, have 3 grown children, live w/ my partner, and work in Charlotte. In 1994 in Michigan, I received my Reiki Masters in the Usui / Tibetan system of healing. While in Michigan, I worked w/ adults, children and animals. Currently I am focusing Reiki with animals.
Favorite Movies: None really.
Favorite TV Shows: CSI Vegas/Miami, SVU, Dog Shows, AFV, House, Bill Gaither Hour
Activities: Hiking, hanging w/ Orio, getting together w/ friends and going out to eat and then shopping. Love going to local farmer markets for fresh produce. Currently I am also looking for a house.
Favorite Charities: Anything supporting animal rights and no-kill shelters and church.
Favorite Music: Blues, jazz, country, and blue grass, southern gospel
Favorite Books: James Patterson, Pat Cornwell, etc.
Favorite People: Those who work in animal rescue w/ me, especially the 11th hour gals that are miracle workers. Also some church people.
Favorite Places: Mountains in western NC, local farmers markets, state parks to hike in, driving down the road seeking new adventures, coffee houses and book stores.
Favorite Animals: Mini Schnauzers, dogs & cats, farm animals, exotic & wild animals.

Love your dog. We just got a cairn terrier/chihuahua X at a rescue last May who is a hoot. These small dogs have BIG personalities.

I WANT TO THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THE GIFT. I CO-HABIT INSIDE WITH A 17 YEAR OLD CAT, A CHIHUAHUA THAT IS A YEAR AND A 7 YEAR OLD DASCHUND/CHIHUAHUA MIX AND OUT SIDE I HAVE A JACK RUSSEL TERRIER/SHEPHERD/DALMATION MIX AND A BORDER COLLIE /BLACK LAB MIX AND HER 6 PUPPIES. ALL MY DOGS ARE SAVES THAT HAVE EITHER WANDERED OUT HERE ON MY PROPERTY OR BEEN ABANDONED HERE. ANOTHER 3 WEEKS AND I WILL BE LOOKING FOR RESPONSIBLE HOMES FOR THE PUPPIES AND MOMMA WILL GET SPAYED. THE KITTY, BOSTON BLACKIE, I HAVE HAD SINCE 5 WEEKS. GUESS I'M JUST AN OLD SOFTIE--HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT NIGHT.

Thanks for the gift, I have three dogs, two Cairn terriers, Duncan and Bonnie, and a puppy, Oliver, he's a designer dog, half Brussells Griffon and half Schnauzer. He's funny looking and very loveable. I too adore my pooches.
