Favorite Music

i grew up with the Grand Old Opry on the left, Motown on the right and Woodtsock straight down the middle. My tastes therefore are a bit of everything. I consider Beethoven's "Seventh Symphony (Second Movement)" to be the single finest piece of music ever written, but Fatboy Slim/WildChild's "Renegade Master" comes damned close.

Favorite TV Shows

none. . .i had the television cut off years ago, as everything was becoming the same--all bland and boring and tastless and noninformative--except for the Cartoon Network and Comedy Central. and, as much as i loved "Adult Swim" and "The Daily Show" and "The Colbert Report", i couldn't afford paying $50.00 a month for two channels.

Favorite Movies

anything by Akira Kurosawa, and all the Godzilla movies (except for the crappy American remake). . .other than that, i have numerous favorites in most genres

with thousands of books and such in my library, i have favorite SERIES of books, as well as singles. . .the collection ranges from the Sumerian "Epic of Gilgamesh" to Stephen Colbert's "I Am America (And So Can You!)". . .far too many favorites . . .
