1953 I was born in Buffalo, NY - the middle child - of an ordinary Polish family in the early '50's.

My life continues to be "ordinary".

My occupation was supposed to be as a legal secretary but actually I'm a "jack of all trades" and master of none, as the saying goes. I can't say that I ever had a career, nor did I want one. I got married when I was 18 and am still married to the same great guy. Taking care of the house and my two kids was enough for me and it was easy to fall into a comfortable routine. Both of the kids are now on their own - so to speak. My son has a PhD in biochemistry and my daughter has almost enough credits to graduate from college except that she can't pass a math class to save her life. She lives and works locally in Richardson, TX, so we see each other almost daily, but my son is doing research at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas and his visits are far too few

My life is pretty boring. I'm easy-going, still content to stay home, do computer graphics, continually change and adjust my computer, enjoy the companionship of my cat, read, bake bread, do a bit of gardening (when it's not too hot) and try to exercise. Since I'm a computer geek, I used to manage the web site for our local homeowner's association and had my own web site posting my tutorials for people learning Paint Shop Pro. My husband and I lead a quiet life here in Texas and we often think about the places that we'd like to retire to - perhaps someplace near a beach or mountain lake - where the weather co-operates and the rest of the surroundings are as laid-back as we are
