Hi everyone! I'm new to this so I'm building my Life Dreams and Life Map. I'll also be building on this "about me" page soon. Hope to be talking to a lot of new friends!
Activities
Biking, walking, reading and quilting. Yes, quilting, which I was just told by a twenty something year old yesterday, was “old fashioned”. I don’t care if it is. I taught myself to quilt 14 years ago to take my mind off my empty nest. Now, years and many quilts later, I have taught others in my family to quilt, some older and yes, even 20 something year olds. I’m glad to pass it on.

The one I am reading at any given time. The last ones I’ve read are: Infidel, The Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns. As long as I am learning, whether it is a different culture, land, or, how to laugh, I’m a sponge.

I grew up with dogs and recently had two of my own. One went on to the other side and the other went to my brother – too big for the smaller place I’m living in now. However, I adopted a stray cat who I absolutely adore. He’s something else besides a cat.
