First and foremost, I am a musician. Secondarily, I am a teacher. I must, by conviction, share my gifts. In addition, I am an author, sharing my personal testimonies of inspiration. I have two books currently in publication.
The highest point in my life is my love for Christ and His high calling on my life. He is the Redeemer and I try to grow into what He has done for me.
I am a published author focusing on liberty and freedom following brain surgery. Facing Me is the name of my first book. My second book, in production now, Imprints: Stories that Solicit a Response, is an inspiration on achieving victories through undergoing harsh circumstances. Beacons of light are the unexpected outcomes and blessing.
I am a Texas girl and I do believe I will spend all my days in Texas no matter how far I may travel from it. Once a Texas girl, always a Texas girl.

classical music especially piano, some Christian worship music on the piano. Contemplative piano music. (I have been a pianist in the church.) Christian worship in liturgical setting with zeal for the Lord, Taize music and worship, prayer retreats, contemplative prayer and silent retreats, bird watching, Texas and its history, music teaching especially in individual basis. I teach private piano in all age groups. It is the joy of my life. I love to embroider and crochet - no projects currently. I am an author. I enjoy antiquing and exploring Texas.

The Eons Team has given me control of the Houstonians Group. The name of the group has been changed. The group’s focus will be changed somewhat but it will still be about Houston including its surrounding communities and towns.
I will be dropping inactive members from the group over the next few weeks. All dropped members are welcome to re-join the new group. If you are still active on Eons and you would like to remain in the group, please let me know in a reply.

I am thrilled to find another contemplative on Eons.
I have been a contemplative meditator for over 30years. I do Centering Prayer and have trained with Father Thomas Keating and Father William Menninger, both Trapists.
I was part of a Taize singing group for a while, but we didn't stay together.
I helped start a contemplative group here in the San Diego area eleven years ago, now we are over 3000 members.
