Born and raised in Oklahoma, never saw the Mississippi River til I got married in 1974. Been to Germany twice (Frankfurt and Giessen in mid-70's and very early 80's. Lived in Clarksville, TN/Ft Campbell, KY area in late 70's, and Tacoma/Ft Lewis, WA in 1982. I've seen Niagara Falls once; been to the beach twice so far (Pompano Beach, FL in Jan 1987, and Myrtle Beach, SC in July 2007) South Carolina has been my "second home" since the end of 1982.

Widowed since December 2001, have two grown sons. I like to listen to music (mostly country and classic rock) and like to read romance and mysteries. Like to get out and travel when I can. Been described by some of my friends as "too nice for my own good", which can get me in trouble sometimes.
