I am a lively almost senior.  My daughter lives at home with me (we live in michigan, afterall).  I love to do different things, it's fall and so beautiful around here.

The fed's consider me disabled (and that's good for me) but I don't.  I still try to keep up as much as possible.  Have had 2 hip replacements (each side) and both have been revised.  This was a gift I was born with.  It has made me a strong independent woman.

Married and divorced twice, I am still looking for my soulmate.  I don't know if he's out there but I am patient and not in any rush.

I have fake red hair (men always ask, is it real, and I wonder, why does it matter, it looks real).  I have had it for almost 30 years and it just looks better than my regular blah brown.

 I am thinking I would like to substitute teach but don't have enough college credits and so I will be looking into that this week.  I am also pursuing other part time employment, just need to do something and some extra funds would help also. The funds would also help me get out to San Francisco to visit family.

My life has been challenged quite a bit in the last few years.  I had a brush with death and that really changes ones perspective on life and I have lost 3 very close friends, 2 to cancer (one was a sister) and the 3rd unexpectantly to Lung Disease.  She knew she had it but didn't share with anyone including her husband.  It's hard to loose 3 close friends in a years time.

I love to laugh, it is so important to living well.  I don't take things to seriously unless I have to.

Most importantly, I share my home with 2 felines.  Duke is an extra large male cat that thinks he is a dog at times.  He loves to play catch or fetch.  Samantha however, is all cat.  She lets me know when she wants attention but she loves Cheez-It's (or Tostitos) and comes hunting for them at least twice a day.  They both love pizza,fish and chicken. While Sam likes Tostitos, Duke loves bean dip.  He is also quite fond of yogurt and popsicles.

 

Activities

I am making dolls for sick children and some of them go to orphanages in 3rd world countries. I work with another woman on this project. I go for a drive, do DIY projects, am starting to paint (have done ceremics, beading jewlry, and any number of of crafty things).
