    Hello to anyone who visits!! What can I tell you that will give you a little insight as to who I am? Well, if I was a domestic animal I'd be a Persian cat. Like a cat I am independent, but still like attention; fluffy on the outside, but strong on the inside.
     In 2005 I packed up my two cats, left my home, family, friends, and moved to Houston from Louisiana to be near my only child and grandchild. I am still attempting to homestead this new land. 
     May life bring you nothing but sunshine and may you have an umbrella handy if there are occasional thunderstorms.

Activities

My life pretty much consists of going to work and babysitting my grandson since his parents are both very profession oriented. When I do have time I'm online- writing a book- scrap booking- reading cozy mysteries- or watching a movie

Murder She Wrote reruns- Kate and Alley reruns- NCIS- The Closer. I usually have the TV on for noise in the house but am not watching it.

Murphy's Romance with Sally Field and James Garner. I can't think of any recent movies.

Favorite Books

Too many to list. I enjoy most of the cozy mystery writers. I also enjoy Joyce Myers. My favorite occupation related book is "If You Don't Feed the Teachers They Eat the Students".

Any place with trees- nature-a body of water-and quiet.

Favorite Animals

I've always loved cats. I also like small dogs and almost anything small and cuddly. I love watching most wild animals in their natural environment. I just can't take the survival of the fittest part of it. I don't like violence even in nature.
