More about me

I'm young, open-minded, curious and have lots of "meaningful life experience" (like 59 years).  I have two beautiful (inside and out) grown daughters who live in Florida, where I lived for 25 years.  I'm now living in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. I'm enjoying the mountains as much as I have always enjoyed the beach. 

I'm a caring, compassionate people-person, an animal lover, a nature lover and a caregiver for my mother.  I love the outdoors, horseback riding, reading, meditating, gardening and traveling.  My family and friends are among the most important aspects of my world.

I am in the process of re-inventing my life after a serious illness and still within the confines of looking out for my mom's welfare.  She has been my best friend since I reached adulthood, and she has always been there for me.  I'm trying to be there for her now, and at the same time not lose myself, but recreate my life.

I'm a blessed and lucky lady!!
