Places I've been: I started out in North Dakota. My favorite story is that my parents wanted to move to a warmer climate, so we moved to Minnesota. I went in the USAF right out of high school and had the great fortune to spend 3 years in England. I say great fortune, because that was during the Viet Nam era! then I got back to the states and spent my last 6 months in So. Cal. Way to many people and worse now as I understand it. I have lived practically all over Oregon and I don't mind telling you it is the prettiest place I've seen.
More about me: I spent almost 35 years either owning or cooking in restaurants. I did everything from pizza to white tablecloth. The last one we had a German/American menu. Then, I smoked prime rib on weekends. I have that cooker sitting on my back porch, are you hungry?
I now work from home, mostly helping groups earn funds. Do you have a church group that needs to earn funds?
Activities: I love what I do from my home mainly because it gives me time to fish. I love to golf also, but I just have been opting to go to a lake and just sit and watch nature lately.
Favorite Charities: I love to work with all groups that need help in earning funds.
Favorite Music: I like 60's rock and older country. Actually anything that the lyrics can be understood!
Favorite TV Shows: OH, Gunsmoke, Sanford and Son, Jackie Gleason, all of the older Medical shows. Last but not least the Dean Martin Roasts, I have a bunch of them on tape.
Favorite Movies: Back in the day, all of the Elvis movies were good. Now, I like nature documenturies more than anything.
Favorite Books: I have always been kept to busy to sit down and read. Now, I am reading the Bible more than anything else.
Favorite Quotes: "A journey is started with a single step", I think by Zig Ziggler or Jim Rohn
Favorite People: I really enjoy people that have the get up and go to change a situation that they have the ability to help!
Favorite Places: I really like most of england, especially Coventry, Cambridge, New Market, Lowestof and parts of London.
Favorite Animals: I would love to see the wild life of Alaska! I would love to go hunting anywhere with a camera.

What do I do do or what do I do for income in Minneapolis? For income I work and some would say play in marketing, supporting business dev. for a private company with my graphic arts and marketing "savvy".
Do in Minneapolis for fun? Work on my old house - I am doing with the major work - wiring, plumbing and now the fun stuff. I just wired a spare bedroom, ripped out and replaced the ceiling and insulation and making it a real home office. A wall and half of bookshelves are being trimmed today in maple. I rarely have others work on my house but I hired a carpenter to build the selves since I was short on time and I wanted the office done by fall. I am giddy about finishing the project. I love designing and working with my hands. When not working on the house, I have a few small gardens and friends to hang out with. Depending on the activity, I find friends to bike, travel, go to movies and theatre, cook for or dine out. I like rewarding myself after a day of work on the house with a film or dinner out, or reading old books. I have a collection of old books I gathered over the summer so I can hunker down and read of artic explorors and travelers from by-gone times. It makes dark winter evening something to look forward to.
