Places I've been

Let me say a little about my home, Jackson, Wyoming, since there is always confusion about it. Jackson Hole is the name of the ski resort here, not the name of the town itself. Jackson is a town located in the Jackson Hole Valley, which is a town located in Teton County. A lot of my camping and RV'ing has been in Wyoming, but I've been to many states throughout the years. Jackson, thx to the ski resort mostly, is now a tourist area, and part time home to many famous and or rich people due to the great skiing and natural beauty. Jackson is the 'gateway' to Yellowstone National Park, the Grand Teton National Park and The National Elk Refuge. We have a well known Music Festival, The Center For The Arts, and The National Museum of Wildlife Art. Cheyenne is our state capital. come visit - you'll love it!

More about me

Hello, my name is Camille, Cam to those who know me well. I'm a natural born outdoors lover. Give me some wide open space and I'm happy! I ride horses for fun and still do light grooming for a living. I love an overnight trail ride almost better than anything. It doesn't get much better than sitting by a campfire and gazing at the stars with a few close friends. I love to fish, and grow, freeze and can a lot of my own food. I have a 5 year old golden retreiver named Bud, who just became a father and will soon be helping me raise one of his new daughters. I'm living my days out in my beloved log cabin that I helped design and had built 25 years ago. I've known most of my friends for most of my life, and have never lived anywhere besides Wyoming. I have no desire to leave here, except for the road trips my friends and I go on in our RV's. We never fail to be happy to get back home! We've had many communal living years out here in the past, and still never let anyone go hungry or without a place to stay when in need. I'm a widow of 12 years, but have not looked for or found another man to re-marry. If the right man came along, it could possibly happen. Never say never I suppose! Not saying I'm too picky, but I've gotten used to living alone and am happy doing so, with Bud and soon with Goldy also. I've worked on the same rodeo ranch for many years, but no longer do the strenuous work like I used to. Life is good, even though things are rough all over. I feel that I'm one of the lucky ones in many ways.

Activities

Long walks on my property with my best friend Bud, my Golden Retriever. Riding and caring for horses for fun and work. Love all kinds of music, and gather with local musicians for weekly picking nights. I play a little harmonica, but am just learning. I read, cook, garden, fish, sew, spend a lot of time with close friends. A huge bonfire is a special place with lots of stars overhead. Used to camp but now go RV'ing every chance we get, and I've seen a lot of this beautiful country. I believe that everyone should care about each other and help every living creature they can, both humans and animals. We need to take care of the planet - it's our only home! I have no children or grandchildren. It just never happened, but I'm a happy woman.
