Hi,

I just like to debate about issues that most people don't want to be bothered about - preferring lighter conversation, or that are considered impolite to speak about in public e.g. politics and religion.

My husband calls me a "confused liberal". He's a "confused conservative". I think that puts us both in a good place because we haven't polarized ourselves and are willing to turn the other cheek  - that is to see things in a different perspective.

I am an X-Catholic and in the process of leaving the Baha'i Faith which I thought was the answer to the flaws of the "One True Church" conundrum. It isn't. I uphold the basic principles with the exceptions of stands on abortion and homosexuality, just can't stand the hypocracy surrounding organized religions.

I support globalization, but try to have empathy for those being devastated by it. I think Americans owe the rest of the world alot to live in the privileged manner in that we take for granted.
