Happily married and looking forward to retirement one day. Mother of two and grandmother of two as well.

I consider myself extremely blessed. Not only am I married to a terrific man who is my best friend, but I have been able to enjoy so many blessings in my life. I've had the opportunity of 'tasting' so many interests like singing, writing, teaching and many others.

I am a conservative and proud of it. I am also becoming more and more politically active. I am tired of others dictating my choices and I consider it every American citizen's right AND responsibility to stand up for his/herself and country.

My husband and I love to travel and cruise a couple of times a year, or head to the mountains for a little R&R. We previously owned a hosting travel agency and I continue to do travel writing.

We are also very family oriented and normally take a little mini vacation with our children and grandchildren. Last year we all flew to Washington, D.C. for a couple of nights. It was a first for the grandsons. They had a wonderful time.
