I have lived in CA, MI, and VA in the past but I always return to good old MN. I have traveled through most of the US and went to Canada with my folks as a child. I also went over the border, from CA, into Mexico in the late 50's when I lived in CA.

In September of 2003, at the age of 66, knowing very little about art, I became a volunteer at the Range Art Center in Hibbing. When I was told members could get a discount on art classes I joined. When I took a drawing class shortly afterwards, I was utterly amazed that I could actually draw! It whet my appetite, encouraging me to try other things. In the next few months I took classes in acrylics, watercolor, and pastels and enjoyed them all. Last year I decided to try, on my own, the art of wood-burning. I liked it, too. (I jokingly liken myself to Grandma Moses only because both of us were at an advanced age when we decided to try our arthritic hands at art.) This is my fourth year as an artist. I’m thankful to GOD for blessing me with this talent!  May HE receive all of the glory!
