Lived in northern California from 1980 until 2000 when I retired and moved back to Ohio. Not too long after, decided I didn't like the humidity and moved to Grand Junction, Colorado. Should have moved here 25 years ago when I could have started rock climbing. Now just relegated to hiking the beautiful, red rock.

Actually, my son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter were with me and because my little 5yr old granddtr had trouble climbing to the top, she insisted on stopping ever so often. I didn't think I was going to make it and had no idea where I was going, I thrust foward and left them behind. My son took the photo of me from an open arch just before Delicate. I think I heard him shout, "Mom!", I looked in that direction and say the three of them waving at me. I am so proud of that photo, it's my greatest accomplishments.
