Grew up in Thomaston, lived there all my life until College in Troy, Alabama; married and moved to Atlanta (Tyrone) and have been here over 20 years. Have been able to travel all over the Southeast between my husband's motorcycle days and our daughter's college search (she ended up at Ole Miss). Have been on several cruises to the Bahamas, Mexico and other islands. I hope to do a lot more traveling out west after my husband's retirement.

I live in Tyrone, just north of Peachtree City Georgia; married, with 1 daughter about to get married herself! Husband of 26 years, a couple of Min Pins, a tank full of fish and 1 bird complete the house. We are empty nesters, sort of, and looking forward to cutting loose in about 2 years when my husband retires.
I enjoy reading, crocheting, dogs (of course!) travel and good sci fi movies at times. Sort of eclectic, I guess. I am trying my hand at flower gardening, but that is really hard to do when we have had little to no rain for literally years now. But, I keep trying!
I am also trying to cook more, watching the Food Network stuff at times and liking that.
I guess just beginning to enjoy life and really try new things now that I can. Great stuff ahead!

Just checked in on my group and saw your entry. I live in Fairmount about 30 miles south of Chatsworth. Beautiful here at the foot of the mountains, especially this time of year. I grew up in Atlanta. It has really changed. Our most favorite cruise was to Alaska. You have to try it. Check the paper for sales. Glad to find someone rom Georgia.
