Places I've been: My most often visited place is the Smoky Mountains. I've also been to the Grand Canyon twice. I like to vacation in cabins in the woods, places that are very peaceful and quiet, surrounded by nature.
More about me: Hi! I was born and raised in the west side of Cincinnati, OH and have lived here all my life. We Westsiders tend to stay put. I have lived in my 1947 house since 1975 where I've since added my husband of 28 years, 2 sons (24 and 25 and, yes, they're still here) and 4 cats.

I'm a self-taught quilter of over 20 years but I've given away most of the ones I've made. In the last few years, I've started making my quilts smaller and smaller, hence my moniker of miniquilter.

I also love shopping for antiques and hunting for old fabric, reading cozy mysteries, science fiction and fantasy.
Activities: I have been quilting for over 20 years (self-taught). I also like to go antiquing and I read a lot.
Favorite Charities: Patient Services, Inc.-a non-profit organization which assists chronically ill people with their medical expenses.
Favorite Music: Classical, Fleetwood Mac, Rock
Favorite TV Shows: Ghost Whisperer, CSI, Star Trek series and spinoffs
Favorite Movies: Indiana Jones, Steel Magnolias
Favorite Books: Fantasy, Mysteries
Favorite Animals: Cats (Frodo, Pokey and Zoey)

Hi miniquilter: My friend that got the quilt in the photo was about the first friend I made here in my town, so am happy that she does have it. I have given just about every quilt that I have made to friends, family or Project Linus. It is the making of the quilt that interests me...not much into having lots of them around, except one or two for warmth in winter. LOL. You have submitted some lovely ones yourself. Have fun.

Hello miniquilter: I used to live in Centerville, Ohio, prior to my marriage. Since then we have lived in northern Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois. Will be visiting Centerville the week of March 16th - I think.

Your miniquilts are really neat. Have you gone up to the Amish country - Berlin, Ohio - etc.?
