About Me
I retired in August of 2006 at the 'young' age of 52. I worked for the telephone company for 34 years and well, enough was enough. I then moved from Michigan here to Florida to live with my son and my 2 adorable grandchildren. He is divorced and needed a little Gramma help. I call myself the gran-nanny. The kids are 8 and 4 so the younger one is now in pre-kindergarten every morning. This leaves me with some free time, which I've not had.... well .... ever ! I've been kayaking as I really love doing that. Looking for something new to get involved in, perhaps some charity type of work. I'll take a few months to myself first though as I'm still busy keeping up with laundry and housework for this group of us. Would love to take some classes so I may try to fit some of those in as well. Just craft classes, nothing educational for now.
Love life and all it brings. Hate the aches and pains that come with this age but what the heck.
