More about me

I am a mother of three grown children and five grandchildren.  I have been married for fifty one years.  My husband and I both are retired. 

I enjoy getting together with my friends when I can find the time.  I have several groups of friends from work and three different churches .  I do have close relationships with members of my family and in laws.

 I love to crochet, read, work in the yard, play on the computer and relax with good TV programs or movies.

 I enjoy Cold Case Files, Forensic Files, Mysteries and Biographies.  I am intrigued in these real life episodes. 

My husband and I have taken several cruises, Caribeen Cruise with a group from work, Aruba Cruise with friends, Alaskan Cruise with group from church.  We also have been to Florida and Montana with my older son and his family.  He talked my husband and I into snow mobiling.  I was very reluctant but had a blast.  My grandchildren love for us to go on vacations with them because they say I am a cool grandmother.  We have also been to Pigeon Forge, TN and Chattonooga, TN with my daughter and her husband.  We went to the Grand Canyon, Tombstone, Tucson and Sierra Vista Arizona with the family.  My husband and I lived in Sierra Vista AZ before our children were born.  He was in the army at Ft. Huachuca.

At present I am a caregiver for my mother, who is 90years old, and my youngest son, who we have learned is Bipolar.  I do a lot of traveling between our homes but still take time to relax in the evening. 

This is the first time that I have joined anything on the internet so I am looking forward to talking with other people.
