Places I've been

All over Texas and lots of Mexico. I have lived in Dallas, Denton, and now live in San Antonio. I lived in Cholula, Mexico during my first year of college but don't keep up on my Spanish as I should. I lived in Chicago and loved it. Several trips to New Orleans-love it. I could see myself living there, retiring in the beautiful state of Louisiana. Visited in-laws in and around the Bay area of Ca. Now I do most of my traveling around town but still I use my imagination and can enjoy many things. I may never climb Mt Everest, but I have read about it and I can imagine it. I have never been to Nepal but I have read a lot about it and its culture. I really enjoy the Middle East, someday, Jerusalem, but now I get to experience the other cultures with people who have moved from many different nations. I have known Palestinians and came to an understanding of what they suffered in the beginning. I have known people who had fought on both sides of the Yom Kippur War. My Hebrew is not so good, but I can understand a lot of it and a little Arabic. Love them both.

I love meeting new people and learning new things. I am open to different opinions than my own. Life is a jouney I do not want to waste. The most seemingly insignificant things can turn out to be the most interesting.

I love all sort of crafts and love to garden and do a little landscaping. Love to see photos of different parts of the world and hear about everyone's different stories

I love to read on all sorts of subject, from the simplest mystery novels to science.  I live with 3 cats and 1 dog. 1 husband and 1 daughter. I am very proud that she is studying environmental science. I am a self-confessed news junkie but try to respect differences of opinion. My family never played by the rules of "no discussing religion and politics". Those seem to have been our favorite topics.

I love to learn about different cultures and I wish someone would show me a spell check on this.
