More about me

I recently moved into a senior retirement apartment which is very nice. I had nothing to furnish it with because my sister sold my furniture at the estate sale. She kicked me out after Mother died, put the house up for sale and I had no place to go. My good neighbors allowed me to stay in their guest house for three months. Meanwhile I filled out an application for this apartment and was accepted. My Church friends, my massage therapist and dear friends have given me a love seat, rocker recliner, kitchen table with chairs, dishes, and a full sized bed. Little by little I am doing alright with making the adjustments. The older we get it seems adjusting becomes more difficult. I am strong and I will make it with God's help.

Activities

There are days it is just too hot to do outside work. It's best to go out early enough to water plants and deadhead. Then I come in and play online games until evening.

Favorite Charities

I enjoy sharing and helping others in need of clothing and canned goods and giving of myself to others. I have coordinated fund drives for people that have lost their homes due to fire.

Favorite Music

Country music is in my blood but I also like different types. American Idol winner Jordin Sparks simply blew me away with her voice.

Favorite TV Shows

Trauma in the ER, Lifetime Movie Network, old movies, Bridezillas, Dr. Phil, Oxygen channel, like to watch the Arizona Diamondbacks, obviously.

Naples, Fla, New Jersey, down the shore in Atlantic City, Wildwood Crest. There's something about the ocean that is calming, love to walk on the beach and wiggle my toes in the sand.

I love dogs puppies, cats and kittens, am a bird watcher. Always keep the bird feeders full and the birdbath with water. Had a hummingbird nest on the front porch. The mama laid 2 eggs and 21 days later they flew the coop.
