Daddy's family was in the chicken rendering business. Daddy moved us from Canton to Decatur AL, back to GA in Lawrenceville, then Ringold & back to Canton. It was about 10yrs after I married I took the children on a vacation to Panama City FL--their faces were priceless & I'll never forget my 1st vacation with them!! I rented a cabin in Gatlinburg TN for our 20th anniv. The most north I've been is New Bern NC. The most south would be Tampa FL. And to the west, Birmingham AL. I havent gotten out much

I grew up & stayed in Cherokee Co GA. I was married a few days short of 29yrs. I stayed until the Lord found me a way out of it..in His own time. I'm a hard worker & love to laugh. I sing because of the pure joy in my heart...always have!

I sing! Hum a tune & I'll harmonize! I've tried alot of crafts thru the years, but I still get my sewing machine out. I'll be planting my first tomatoes in a pot instead of the garden this year. I love learning new things the computer can do. I love to read southern writers but keep up with Nora Roberts' novels asa they hit the shelves!
