Places I've been

OK, so I only lived in my Hometown 3 months, then my Dad got out of the service and we moved to Spring Arbor, MI - a small town just outside of Jackson. Between my Junior and Senior year of high school we moved to Marlboro, OH, a small crossroads outside of Alliance. I went to college at Kent State, then off to the military (to pay for more college :). Training was at Ft Jackson, SC and Ft Gordon, GA. Then I was assigned to Ramasan, Thailand, then to Vint Hill Farms Station outside of Manassas, VA (that's now a housing development, sort of sad to see, actually.) Then back to Mogadore, OH where I finished up college at Kent (with a new major.) After graduation I got a job offer in Denver and we've been here ever since. Now I'm sure to miss some of the places I've been as we've always been ones to tell our two daughters that we're spending their inheritance on family vacations. I'll list the places I recall, in no particular order: California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Victoria BC, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, both Dakotas, Iowa, Minnesota, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Delaware, Pennslowmania, New Jersey, West Virginia, Louisiana, South Carolina, Florida, England, Scotland, France, Nevada and I've most likely missed something along the line. Those are all places we've visited something in, not just passed through. Yes, I like to drive. Most of the traveling was done by car (we had 5,000 miles on the new car we picked up a couple days before our northwest trip in only a couple of weeks) but our travels in Texas/Nevada and in Alaska were by motorhome.

I've been married almost 32 years, 2 daughters, one grandson.

I'm a long time programmer, short time author. Very short time, I've just started a book.

I love to fly and only budget constraints keep me from continuing to learn.

Lived in Denver area for almost 23 years, we plan on moving to Alaska in 2 or 3 more years after our youngest graduates high school and my wife passes her most recent 5 year mark.

Love to read, mostly SciFi, some adventure, pretty eclectic. I favour acapella music, love photography, still learning how to do it "correctly."
