 I grew up in a Burbank, CA boarding school and graduated in 1961 and married my 1st husband at 18 (way too young). Our first house was in Burbank where we had my 2 sons. We moved to Valencia, CA in the late 70's when my boys were in High School and Jr. High. I was widowed while living there.

I met my present husband there 2 years later and moved to Newhall to help run a 350 acre horse show and boarding ranch. He had 2 sons and a stepson. His older son and my younger son were best friends from the Burbank years. They introduced us and got a big kick out of us falling in love and blending our families. From there we moved to Simi Valley and bred, trained, and boarded horses. I learned to play golf there and sure miss playing (back surgery). We moved to Lompoc when we retired from the Fire Dept. and horses and live on a golf course there with our great dane and cat to this day. Our sons are all married, I always say my daughters were all hand-picked :) We have 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson! We miss seeing them often as they are all scattered. Holidays and special events are the cue for big family get - togethers.

Health issues keep me less active than I would like, so I love eons for friendships and stretching my boundaries.
