More about me

                              I am happily married to my better half for twelve years. I absolutely adore my beautiful six year old daughter. She keeps me young at heart and constantly reminds me how much fun life is suppose to be. We live in the beautiful foothill mountains of the appalachian. I love home interior designing & gardening. Every weekend I am on the hunt for that undiscovered antique or unusual piece of decor that is begging to be restored to its natural beauty.  I don't believe God ever intended for us to pay for rocks  and plants, therefore it isn't surprising  to anyone to see me climbing the sides of mountains or wading in rivers to collect the perfect rocks or plants to use in my gardens. I also lovecooking & scrapbooking. I am in the process of crating a family cookbook that will also incorporate our family archives. I just came to the realization that I enjoy writing non-fiction short stories. And come to find out I'm not half bad at it. I won first place in our newspaper for a christmas story I wrote. My pet peeves are liter bugs, liars, People who don't stand by their convictions, hypocrites, & people who don't believe in God. I love life & try to live it to the fullest everyday. I try not to take one moment for granted & to always be grateful for the gifts in my life & to honor the one who has given me them. GOD.
