I was widowed at age 27.  My children were 4 and 6.  I have worked in Special Education for 30 years.  My passion is ASL interpreting.  Currently, I work with high school, special needs students.  I LOVE the kids!  They are my "wings".  The learning is mutual.  I have a 32 year old daughter and a 34 year old son, both of whom are estranged.  I have never been told why.  After much soul searching, I still do not know why.  I raised my daughter's son for 8 years.  I have not seen him for 6 years.  He was not my grandson.  He was my grandSON.  He was my magic.

I have a wonderful Domestic Partner.

 

Activities

Travel- I LOVE "getting out of Dodge". When I travel, I can be anybody but me.
