I was the oldest of six children. My Mom and Dad ment during WWII. My Dad was in the 101st Airborne and fought in the Battle of the Bulge at the age of 19. I went to a one room school house until the 4th grade. Growing up on the farm was wonderful and I had a very blessed childhood with lots of treasured memories. Wanted to make this page like opening up an old trunk with all the memories inside. Sometimes you just feel like you wanna go home. Enjoy

Married for 40 years, three children eight grandchildren. Retired from my job as office manager. Enjoying life with husband and family. Looking forward to trips and lots of time with my grandchildren. Have finally settled into retirement. Spending lots of quality time with the grandkids. I am caregiver to my husband who has CHF. He has been ill for the past ten years. Kind of put a kink in our retirement plans, but we said we were in it for the long haul and we ment it! Lots of changes come along in life, and we have to be ready to meet them head on. I try to do just that. Us baby boomers are a resiliant bunch, don't ya think? We kind of take what life hands us but we are screaming and kicking all the way. The grand kids are the light of my life and my heart. My kids are pretty wonderful too. I was blessed on both counts.
I have been a dancer since I was three years old. It has been such a force in my life. I taught dance when my children were small to earn extra money. I have lived, and breathed to dance.
My husband is also a very good dancer. It saddens my heart that he is too ill to dance with me now.
