More about me

Hi, I am libfun and I have lived at my present address for 37yrs. and am very content.  I have raised 9 children and now have 6 dogs and cats.  I work to support myself since I am divorced.  I am a school and community college Library Tech, and love it very much.  I am now contemplating retirement.  I enjoy family activities.  2 of my children and their families live here in Snowflake and the rest live 180 miles from here in Mesa, AZ.  I see them several times a year and so it could be worse.  I ejoy reading books and magizines.  I enjoy going to watch my 12 year old grandson play Little League Baseball.  I love Sunday rides in the car.  I am not too hard to please.  Well, at least I don't think I am.

Activities

I have always and still do enjoy crocheting and knitting. I stay with the easier patterns these days because it is hard for me to see anything very fine. I sew dog cloths for my Chinese Crested (hairless). Much more simple than what I did when the kids were growing up. I used to make my boys "jeans" and shirts, and dance dresses for the girls and square dance cloths for me and my X, and coats for the kids. I am glad we were in a small town, because my kids liked what I made them and every other mom made their kids cloths too. Reading is a favorite passtime on limited time. 30 minutes at a time several times a day. Of course when I go to the city with the kids I enjoy eating at nice restaurants and going to good movies. Playing with my dogs and cats are high on my list of pleasures.

I give donations to several animal rescue centers.

Favorite Music

Country music and in my opinion no one can sing as well as George Strait. I like easy listening too.

Favorite TV Shows

I don't watch alot of T.V. but I do some. "House" is my favorite and has been since it came on several years ago. I enjoy watching the medical shows on the cable stations. And, of course CSI:Miami.

Favorite Movies

"While You Were Sleeping" remains a favorite, with Sandra Bullock. I enjoy Will Smith movies usually. The African Queen is the best. Humphrey Bougart and Katherine Hepburn. Dragon Fly with Kevin Co....

Favorite Books

The Scriptures, Locked in Time, Poison, When Helen Comes, The Shadow Children, House on the Gulf.
