So so much to say, where do I begin?  I work full time and am an empty nester. I live with Mike who is the love of my life. No grandbabies but I have 3 kitties and consider myself to be a crazy cat lady.  I also think of myself as being a "church lady" as I am on the Outreach Committee and a deacon in my church. I totally missed my calling as a social worker.  I spent a week in NOLA deconstructing houses after Katrina.  I have a knack for locating online information for others who have difficulty in locating what they want. I have primary insomnia and can't sleep properly with out medication. I love a good road trip, especially if it includes a good diner and off beat attraction like Lucy the Elephant (see my photos).  My dream vacation is to drive cross country in an old convertible along Route 66, end to end, but I can never see it happening, especially now.  I have been to Africa but never to Europe.  I have a daughter who is so beautiful and talented but she doesn't realize just how beautiful and talented she really is. (Spoken like a true mom).I have been a nail biter since I was four years old. I like hot showers that turn my skin red as a lobster. I am addicted to Dancing with the Stars and House. I want to learn how to Tango. I love anything kitschy, campy, retro or having an element of schlock. I hate managerial bullshit on any level. My biggest fear is pain, of which I have a low threshold. I have double depression and take 2-3 antidepressants daily so I can function. I want to learn how to use power tools and build salvage art and furniture, repurposing existing materials.  I. HATE.SPORTS. PERIOD. My favorite food group is Coca-cola. I LOVE Middle Eastern cuisine. I hate being cold. Sleep is my favorite escape.
