I love to travel and as soon as I return from one trip I am planning another trip. My favorite foreign destination is Italy. I love the friendly people, the food, the wine. My daughter and I backpacked around Europe one summer as a college graduation present. Don't think I could sleep on the floor of a train station any more, but it was fun.

More about me

My husband and I live in a log home on an island in northern MN. We built the home ourselves over 25 years ago. Our lives are simple here. The little town close by has no stoplights and only a few stop signs. I had three children, lost my oldest.

We are retired teachers beginning second careers as artists. We built a studio closeby and spend our days creating art to sell at our gallery in the summertime.

I enjoy taking walks, gardening, working with stones and rocks, reading, and creating.

Life is good.
