Places I've been

Ohio, California, Nevada, Maryland, Virginia, places I have lived. I have visited almost every state in the US. Like anywhere, some nicer than others. How could I forget? I have also lived in Washington, D.C. (when JFK was there and there were still a few cable cars and I was a little bit younger).

More about me

 I never married and never had children. I turned 65 in September, 2007. I am originally from Dayton, Ohio, and moved to San Diego with my sister and her daughter when I was 15. After graduating from high school I joined the Navy, for a brief time (things were different then), and was stationed in Bethesda, Maryland. I've lived in Maryland (after discharge from the Navy), and Washington, D.C. I've been all over the country, in almost every state of the union. After getting my fill of the east coast, I moved back to California to San Diego to Los Angeles...met someone, we moved to Las Vegas. We lived together until he died and I then moved back to San Diego briefly and than back to Los Angeles, to Glendale and now back to San Diego to be closer to my sister and her family. I'm no longer working. Two weeks after I quit the stock market went in the toilet and everything went to hell. "They" say hindsight is better than no sight at all, I just wish I had had my hindsight a bit sooner.

Favorite Animals

I love all animals...if I could have a pet it would be a cat or a dog, however, when I had to "put down" my calico cat I said to myself no more unless I live in a house with a lot of rooms and with a yard.

Activities

I have no particular interests or activities. I read a lot, mainly fiction. Favorites J.D. Robb, James Patterson, Clive Cussler, Jeffrey Deaver, David Baldacci, etc.
