I am a sheep and cow/calf rancher in East central New Mexico. In 1952 I had polio which limits my ability to do certain jobs. Our ranch is small compared to the neighbouring ranches. We have won awards on our wool at the New Mexico State Fair and the National Western in Denver. We run about 500 sheep and 80 cows. My wife inherited the ranch from her grandmother in 1996, but it has been in business since 1929.
My hobbies are leathercraft and a lot of reading.
My wife and I are both spinners and she is a weaver. We use our own wool along with roving bought at fiber shops in New Mexico.
We also sell all natural lamb and beef.
