More about me

I'm a mom of two beautiful college-age kids and I'm a licensed Life & Health insurance agent and a Medicare Specialist, which is how I found out about this site! I'm Italian and am very proud of my heritage! I have two homes - St. Louis, where I was born & raised, and Wichita, KS, where I am now.  I love the tropics, palm trees, the water, sand, sun, conch shells, and have a secret desire to live in Key West again, which is where I lived as a small child.  Other things I love are God; my family; reality TV; cooking; Italian food; the 70's & the great memories I have (rock on, Steve Miller Band); indoor decorating.

Hanging with my kids, participating in community events with my company (Arthritis Walk, working at bazaars and expos), dining out, cooking/baking for family & friends, online shopping, water aerobics classes and working out, playing on Eons, movies (yay for Netflix).

70's music, always and forever, some 60's too, jazz, country, reggae, some blues, some classical when the mood hits me.

Holy smokes, what a reality freak I am. Favorites are Big Brother, Survivor, Amazing Race, American Idol. Other shows I like are Brothers & Sisters, Boston Legal, Desperate Housewives, Lost, and two soaps I've watched since I was small watching them with my mom - As the World Turns and Guiding Light.

Favorite Movies

Wild Hogs, Leatherheads, Sex and the City, Fools Rush In (Matthew Perry, Salma Hayak - remember?), big fan of John Travolta, George Clooney, Diane Keaton. Newest favorite - What Happens in Vegas.

The Bible, huge fan of Nora Roberts, Janet Evanovich, John Grisham, Fern Michaels.

Dogs and cats, of course. I'm an animal lover so there aren't too many I don't like. I think the giraffe is one of the most elegant creatures God made - the same with swans. I also love dolphins and turtles. I'm a sucker for animal movies.
