I'm a news junkie although that makes me look really boring. However, "Civil War Journal"....my passion. Current? "Saving Grace" as she's so real she scares me-hence, it will probably be cancelled.

Photography, social history, digging into one's mind as I want to know how people think.

No one in particular, but I've always been attracted to those who have the guts to say what they mean. It's a joy to occasionally run into someone who isn't afraid to be honest. It's a hard way to be for some, and I hold them in high regard.

High enough in the Rockies to have snow....quiet snow. Give me a small cabin in the Rockies with a big window and a winter storm, and I'll be happier than you can even imagine.

Nothing better than cuddling up with a dog that thinks the sun rises and sets in you. However, I have a cat, and that's a different story. She's a bit of a snob.

Frederick Douglass- He stood up for others, and did so with dignity. Abraham Lincoln - for reasons that most are wholly unaware. My dad because he let me be a tomboy and my mom for raising me to be a lady.

Who is the most interesting person you have ever met?

A gentleman named George Addair. One could almost read his life in his eyes. I don't know if he is living now, but he lived every single day with joy and anticipation of what the day would bring. He taught me that everyday is an adventure if you make it so.

Now that you are over 50, what are you doing that you never thought you would?

Business travel, weekend getaways by myself and enjoying the heck out of my own company, photography for Special Olympics...never thought I would be good enough.
