an indian chief in canada i met while driving to alaska. he wore a beaver skin top hat and a beaver jacket studded with silver and turquoise. we were eating breakfast in a small cafe. we talked for about 4 hours. he was the most dignified person i ever saw. he was also very intelligent. i wish i could sit at his feet and just soak up his knowledge from his experiences. this was in 1975. i asked someone how old he was and was told he was known to be 93. the sad thing is i don't remember his name
