More about me: I am still a work in progress. so I am working on it. I have always been a mystery to anybody I meet so I guess I will just stay a mystery.
Activities: Reading, travel, animals, junking around at second hand stores and flea markets. Working with the rescue dogs, and most of all laughing.
Favorite Charities: Any for the animals, Best Friends.
Favorite Music: Almost any music, Jazz, Blues, Oldies, Country, Rock. etc, etc.
Favorite TV Shows: NCIS, Burn Notice, Monk, Closer, Mentalist, Nothing gory.
Favorite Movies: Still a kid at heart, so Wizard of Oz comes to mind and Fried Green Tomatoes, the friendship is what it is all about, any Clint Eastwood Westerns and old time 1930 comedies
Favorite Books: Way too many older ones, but the newest would be Marley and Me, the best dog story I have ever read. Laughter and tears all rolled into one
Favorite Quotes: Pretty much believe in What goes around, comes around, and a true friend will be sitting right next to you even in jail saying Well, that went well.
Favorite People: My husband, my true friends, my dogs they are just furry kids
Favorite Places: Galveston, Texas, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Astoria, Oregon, Mooreshead, North Carolina, Padre Island, Texas, Panama City, Florida, Orange Beach, Alabama. And cool blue lakes. I am a beach and lake lady. If it is surrounded by water I am there.
