very very young.Born in missouri,kansas, oklahoma then back to missouri. this was during the great depression. ran out of food and went to live with grandparents on farm. after ww2 started,California. Joined Merchant Marines.Shipped out to South Pacific. Saw lots of Islands there. After Marines US army Air Force Aleutian chain Islands, Washington State, Oregon, Korea Japan, US east coast Maine to Florida, Texas. Missed Europe. Mexico,Canada,Hawaii.

I am right now 80 years old. I am completely deaf. I am very poor at lip reading. That makes Eons and friends here important to me. communication is pictures and text. Most of my life I worked as a CNC technician (CNC ae computerised numerical control technition) I am a fanatic for the ocean. That is why we live 9 miles from the Pacific ocean. I loved water sports, boating, fishing, scuba diving,walking on the beach, especially in the winter time. also snow sking, hiking in the woods (calling it hunting). Now I am limited to things that don't require walking. Computer, Tv, Wire wrapping jewelry, and being with my loving wife of 57 years, Joyce. Yes dear I remember, even if I do forget your name sometines.

I am actually doing pretty great right now. The arm has improved nicely, even without surgery. Pain is almost gone, but don't have complete use of the arm. No heavy lifting, etc.
I sent you an email to let you know more about what's going on. Better than sticking it in here.

you must really "like" each other besides the love part. That is great. Did you see that I am a native Californian.
Just moved to Illinois (not my choice) in August 2007.
I love Northern California and lived in Cambria (Central coast) here's a pic for your beach loving heart. I lived on the beach.
